Rental booking tips:

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental home & When to go:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To book the most suitable rental for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing the perfect vacation home:

  • Choose your dates and budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Fredonia on Front ! Best Location Downtown! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually available online. Otherwise, email or call the host before you book the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area beach you are enamored with, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

More tips for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the rental manager right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
