Vacation rental tips and tricks:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing the perfect rental home in Carolina Beach:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and select a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Snow's Cut Haven - Your quiet retreat! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Have a great stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. Contact the property manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
