Tips to get the perfect Sunset Beach vacation property experience:

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Brunswick area attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, property management companies supply Brunswick area area travel guides which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the best vacation home in Sunset Beach:

  • Start by choosing vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Book Now for Sea Trail Golf or Beach -No extra owner fees - 2miles to Beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before reserving the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
  • Be respectful. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
