How to book the best Brunswick area vacation rental experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Brunswick area vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guides that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Narrow your Search:

  • First and foremost, have your group decide on vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Beautifully restored condo in the heart of everything downtown has to offer! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Advice for a great stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
