  • Private vacation home

Our home is a 2,600 square foot home containing 4 bedrooms and five bathrooms! There are water vistas on each side...the intracoastal waterway on one side, and the canal on the other. The home has wood floors throughout and roomy living areas. There are new flatscreen tvs in 3 of the bedrooms and in the living room. This is a great place to gather with your family and has one of the best sunset vistas I've ever seen.

Tips to get the perfect vacation property experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, try shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have offers and deals for local tours and attractions.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by selecting a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Beautiful House located on a scenic street between the Waterway and Canals has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
