This family-friendly and immaculate home features an open main level with living/dining space, a modernized kitchen, and main level queen bedroom. This versatile floor plan includes a 2nd floor with master suite with oceanfront vistas and two additional well-appointed bedrooms. The kitchen features granite countertops, tile backsplash, newer appliances, and is well outfitted with every gadget and utensil needed to prepare huge meals or accommodate take-out from the many eateries on the island.

Sit on the covered deck and watch the sun rise and set over the shining water. The home is positioned closer to the dunes and ocean than the neighboring homes for unobstructed vistas up and down the island. Watch the kids play on the beach from the deck or the many ocean-view windows in the home.

Appreciate an evening walk on the beach to multiple eateries on the island serving fresh seafood, steaks and exhilarating island drinks. Have dessert at the local ice cream shop before heading back for a calming nighttime listing to the ocean surf.

Holden Beach is a peaceful, family-friendly beach recognized as a top beach by USA Today and a top-10 beach by National Geographic Traveler’s Magazine. There are no hotels or high-rise complexes, just family owned cottages. Holden Beach is part of the barrier island chain in southeastern NC and is also located roughly 35 miles from Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC -- making trips for shopping, eating and entertaining very convenient. Holden Beach is also well-located for 30 area golf courses.

Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
