Strategies to get the best Brunswick area rental experience:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Brunswick area area. Booking in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Brunswick area area travel guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to pick the best vacation home:

  • Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Amazing Grace - Lovely oceanfront home in the heart of Wrightsville Beach has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. Otherwise, call the property owner before booking the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
  • If there's a certain Brunswick area destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of issues.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
