Discover the calming serenity of Bald Head Island tucked within beautiful live oaks and over looking Hole #3 on the golf course. Our home consists of four bedrooms each having their own full bath. Three of the bedrooms all have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom consists of two twins each having a trundle. Our home features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and living area all on one level. The kitchen is the chefs dream. We are entirely outfitted and well equipped! We have a roomy screen porch and a sizable broad deck along the maritime forest. We are located on a half an acre, which is not common on Bald Head Island. We are very private although just around the corner from the beach, the harbor and the maritime stores. We have plenty of beach gear, 2 golf carts and wifi.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Cost saving strategies:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. Book your Brunswick area vacation home in the Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
• Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
• Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.
