Bald Head Island vacation rental booking tips:

When to book a Brunswick area rental home & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines which include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting and booking a perfect Brunswick area rental home:

  • Start by having your group agree to date ranges and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Keeper's Landing Marsh Retreat! \nMinutes to East Beach Access and Shoals Club\n has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area attraction you are enamored with, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Call the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
