Welcome to Bahamian Rhapsody! We appreciated visiting on Oak Island so much that we bought our own place...Now we are excited to share it with you!

The uncrowded beaches & magical tide pools make this the ideal destination for families with kids!

Our Bahamian-style beach home is a 3-min., 2-block walk to the ocean access & is directly across from a boat launch that leads to the Intracoastal. The property is fenced & is on a cul-de-sac on the peaceful west end of OKI.

About the Area

Located in Oak Island, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Magic Mountain Fun Park and Planet Fun are also worth visiting. Looking to get your feet wet? Jet skiing, kayaking and motor boating adventures can be found near the property.

When to go & When to reserve a Brunswick area rental home:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. To get the most suitable rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.

  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
