“American Dream” is located on an upsized lot on a peaceful cul-de-sac with striking vistas of the Bald Head Island golf course and lagoon. This beauty was completely restored and taken down to the studs in 2020 and will be open for new units Spring of 2021! The home has been professionally decorated and tons of upgrades and nice finishing touches. The lower level contains 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a combo bath and shower. Bedroom 1 has a twin plus a bunk with a twin on top and a double bed on the bottom. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed. Upstairs is the main living area with a gourmet / well outfitted kitchen, half bath, broad porch overlooking the great water vistas of the lagoon and 2 master suites. Both master suites include king beds and private baths. The 3rd level is a loft with great ocean vistas! It also contains a separate bedroom with 2 queens. Three four passenger golf carts are also supplied for your enjoyment with the beach being less than a min. cart ride away!

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. With kayaking, surfing/body boarding, and fishing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

When to book & When to go:

• Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Brunswick area restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
• Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
