This 4-bedroom home is just steps from the beach access. It's so close, we figure it's about a 90-second walk. With no roads to cross, it's great for families with modest kids, or kids old enough to wander back from the beach by themselves for a snack, bathroom break or nap.
The refreshed kitchen, with new stainless steel appliances, and comfortable living area are ideal for huge family gatherings. Check the bed configurations to see how a sizable group will fit in. But the most unique features are the bathrooms. There is a half bath in each bedroom. Plus there are two showers and a full bath. The design might seem odd at first, but renters have been raving about how well it works.
There is even more sleeping in the upsized upstairs loft-consider it like a fifth bedroom. There are twin beds and the room doubles as a kids's hideaway area.
Every year, the owners undertake another remodel project and are constantly updating and improving for their guests. An island favorite for years.

• Summer months are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
• Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
• Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
