Three flat screen TV's (two with ROKU streaming capabilities), one DVD player, books, games and puzzles. Wood floors in living spaces, carpet in bedrooms, upstairs reading nook. Dining table seats six plus four at the bar. Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, ocean view covered porch, deck with furnishings and rinse off, street-side screened porch with furnishings. Under home parking for four cars with room for two to four more cars in the driveway. Driveway entrance is located off of Dolphin Drive.

Though guest family pets are not allowed at this property, please note that a dog may be present during an owner reservation for those guests who are allergic to pets.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Magic Mountain Fun Park are also worth visiting. Scuba diving and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and cycling nearby.

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
