How to get the best Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Carolina Beach. To find the best rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Brunswick area attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting and booking the bestrental:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Cozy Condo, Balcony, Pool, King Bed, Sofa Bed, free parking, 3 block to beach! has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property manager before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Have a great stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Note any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peace. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
