(Please note: coffee and coffee filters are not guaranteed to be supplied, but there may occasionally be some left over from previous guests.) You’ll also find sharp knives, cutting boards, and mixing bowls to make prep simple, plus plenty of plates, silverware, cups, and mugs for everybody to appreciate. For those who need to work remotely, the master bedroom features a modest, portable workspace with a desk and chair, offering a peaceful and cozy spot to catch up on emails or take calls.

Important Note: Linens and towels are not included by default. However, pillows and clean quilts are supplied for all beds. Guests may request linens and towels for an additional fee. To arrange this, we require at least one week’s notice along with details about the number of guests and whether all beds are expected to be used. While guests have private access to the entire home, this flexibility ensures that the linen/towel fee can be adjusted for those who may not need linens and towels for every bed. It also provides the option for guests to save by bringing their own linens and towels.

If you'd like to request a quote for linens and towels for your stay or have any additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out—we’re here to ensure your stay is ideal!

**One bedroom was freshly refreshed from a single queen bed to a single king bed. This is the master bedroom which occupies its own full bathroom. Updated photos coming soon!*

Tips to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation home experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the most suitable rental within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area area magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Choosing the perfect rental in the Brunswick area area:

  • Start by choosing a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Spacious 5-bedroom house - Pet & Family Friendly! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before reserving your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what is optimal for your trip.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or could be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area beach you crave, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the host immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
