Have you gone "Coast to Coast?" Look no further for your ideal coastal hideaway than this freshly modernized 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront home on Oak Island! Located on the coveted West End of the island, Coast to Coast features comfort and relaxation for you and the entire family. Highlights include direct beach access, multiple outdoor decks overlooking the Atlantic, an open floor plan with relaxing coastal vibes, and modern touches throughout. You'll also notice the home is located less than 2 miles from the Ocean Crest Pier and close to many of the amazing local eateries and stores!

One of our favorite features of this home is the broad oceanfront deck! It's ideal for appreciating your morning coffee while listening to the waves, lying out in the sun during the afternoon, or calming while watching the sunset in the evening with your favorite beverage in hand. There's even a dining table that's great for gathering around to grab a fast lunch or have a oceanside family dinner together. From here, you just need to walk down the back steps to get to your direct beach access.

Inside, you'll find a cavernous living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings and ample windows to take in the exceptional ocean vistas! Unwind and relax on the jumbo sectional couch and watch your favorite shows together on the enormous flatscreen TV. A few steps away is the completely equipped chef's kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, plenty of counter space, and a handsome kitchen island with bar seating for up to 3. When you're ready to sit down for a meal together, the bright and airy dining area has seating for up to 8.

And, when it's time to rest and recharge, you'll find each bedroom is equipped with intelligent TVs and ceiling fans. The primary suite is on the second floor and features a king-size bed along with a private oceanside balcony where you can escape for a peaceful moment away from it all. The primary bathroom on this top level offers a elegantly tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity to give you plenty of counter space. The second bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds makes for a great coastal getaway for the younger travelers in your group. You'll even find a additional loft area on this floor with a couch and TV area that's elegant for the kids to hang out after the day at the beach.

Heading back downstairs, you'll find two additional serene bedrooms! The first has gorgeous ocean vistas and a queen-size bed, while the second offers peaceful community vistas and a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share the downstairs bathroom, which is just as spa-like as the primary bathroom, with a roomy tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity.

But all of this is only the start of the marvelous amenities you'll have when you stay here! There is an outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach, wireless internet, and so much more. If one thing is sure, heaven awaits you at Coast to Coast!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear units during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours! For this home you are eligible for up to $315.00 credit on any beach gear! Book now to reserve your gear today!

Please Note: Linens are included with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

We know you want to relax without stopping at the store when you get to the island. To get you started, we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, a dishwasher pod, a washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

How to get the best vacation property experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the best rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • Begin by selecting vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Renovated Oceanfront Cottage w\/ Direct Beach Access: Coast to Coast has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available online. If not, call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or might be applied to your contract.

Know before you go:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Upon check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
