Brunswick area rental home booking tips:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To find the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing and booking your prefect Brunswick area vacation home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Newly renovated Beach House on Carolina Beach, PET FRIENDLY with BOAT PARKING! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area destination you love, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
