Reviews:

June 2024 - 10/10 Dream Vacation Home!

We’ve had the enjoyment of staying at this property for our yearly family vacation over the last few years and it never disappoints! The home is furnished handsomely and always spotless. Multiple rooms to choose from with sleeping arrangements for infants and young kids. It is a short golf cart drive to the Bald Head Island Club and when we want to switch it up and spend the days at the Shoals Club, we get to appreciate a striking spectacular drive around the coastline. The hosts are always responsive and check in to make sure things are going well. Can’t wait to return again next summer!

How to get the best Brunswick area rental home experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Brunswick area area. Booking in the Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Planning, selecting, and booking yourrental:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Stunning Home w\/Ocean & Golf Course Views - Affordable off season rates has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. If they are not listed, email the property management company before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
  • Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.

During your stay:

  • Add the owner's information to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
