How to get the best vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Brunswick area vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Choose a group leader, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Vitamin Sea - Third floor OCEANFRONT! Take a break and soak up some Vitamin Sea! by RedAwning has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before you book the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Upon check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
