Tips for getting the best Brunswick area rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Carolina Beach. Reserve your vacation home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have coupons for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • Select dates and budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Sand Fiddler Sunrise (2-Bedroom Villa) with Pool by RedAwning has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the host before you book the property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • During check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
