About this Property

  • Sleeps 12
  • 5 Bedrooms
  • 5 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 4000 square feet

Not what you would expect from a typical beach property. Bald Head Island is a unique island with Live Oaks, palmettos, Spanish Moss, white sandy beaches, and a beautiful golf course with lagoons, palm trees, that is entirely landscaped. We have been searching for a Luxury home that blends all these aspects of the island, and finally found it. This 4000 square foot home with 5 bedrooms is located on the 8th green, with distant vistas and sounds of the ocean, all while being located on the edge of the forest. We have added a private pool and hot tub off the master suite. For security and safety reasons we have added outdoor nest cameras. We also have 1 four person golf cart and 6 person cart for your use. Once you arrive on the island after a magnificent 20 min ferry ride (don't forget to book the ferry to & from the island when you book your reservation) all the stresses of the world are gone. Only golf carts and bicycles (we have 4) are allowed on the island. We also have a third golf cart for rent for $250 per week if needed.

How to find the best vacation home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Book your rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby shops and restaurants.

How to choose and book the perfect Brunswick area vacation home:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Luxury Vintage Nautical - Grand Estate Lot has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what is right for your family.
  • Does your family require special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or applied to your agreement.

Know before you go:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the property manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of issues.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
