Our top Rental home booking tips and tricks:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Filter your search:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Loggerhead Loft \/ 620 E Beach Drive - Coastal Vacation Resorts has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rental home search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often available online. If they are not listed, contact the host before booking the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what configuration is right for your group.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area destination you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.

Tips for a smooth stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Upon arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
