Summary:
Happy as a Clam is a brand new 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom luxury townhouse constructed in 2022 with bespoke finishes throughout. Pride of ownership throughout this home, and we hope you feel welcome when you stay! Appreciate the reverse floorplan with the kitchen and living room on the top level! Several private patios to appreciate the fresh ocean breeze! Great central location, and you'll appreciate the proximity to the beach! Outdoor shower and you need to do some remote work, there are two desks and fast wifi!

The Space:
Happy as a Clam is a 3 story townhome- please note there are stairs.

All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for units.

Guest Access:
Please enter through the gate (LEFT Side of the townhome AND NOT THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR BY THE GARAGE) Guest access through side door.

Please note that guest will not have access to the garage.

The grille uses propane that each guest is responsible for providing for themselves. The grille is not part of the cleaning fee so please clean it after each use. Thank you.

The neighborhood is close to everything with a mix of visitors and year round residents.

Many spectacular eateries, eclectic drinking holes and coffee stores + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Check out Carolina Beach’s new mural project too!
- Wilmington Airport and Downtown Wilmington less than 40 mins away.
- Take the ferry to enjoy Southport for the day!

We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

About the Area

Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach, is home to this vacation home. Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting.

Tips to get the optimal vacation property experience:

When to book a Brunswick area rental & When to go:

• Summer time is high season in the Brunswick area area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.

• Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
