Booking the best Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

How to get the best value:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Book your Brunswick area vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guides which include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and choosing a perfectvacation home:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. ??Sea Chant Lower: Rustic, Oceanfront Duplex with Views?? has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before reserving the property. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a certain Brunswick area beach you love, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Call the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
