Tips to get the best Brunswick area rental experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines have coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • First, have your family agree to a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Rustic Charm: Captivating 1920s Farmhouse has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the property owner before booking your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Is your group looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

More tips for your stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • To make certain that no damages are attributed to your visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. text the host right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
