How to find the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Carolina Beach. To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to pick the perfect vacation rental in the Brunswick area area:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Cozy Apt Quite close to everything, plenty of parking for vehicles, watercraft. has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible online. Otherwise, contact the property manager before booking your rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area attraction you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. Speak to the rental manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your life at home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
