Hi, I’m Captain Harvey Wall, owner of Salty Dawg Fishing Charters.
With 25 years of experience as a North Carolina fishing guide and proud U.S. Army veteran, I’m here to make your day on the water safe, fun, and memorable.
I'm based in Ocean Isle Beach, but my charters also cover great fishing spots in Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Calabash, and Little River SC. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or it’s your first time holding a rod, I’ll tailor the trip to exactly what you want and ensure you have a blast!

* Inshore Fishing Charters
Fish calm waters like the ICW and backwaters (rivers, creeks, marshes) for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Perfect for a relaxing, action-packed trip.
* Kids Fishing Charters
These short, 2-hour trips are designed for young anglers. We’ll fish calm waters and focus on easy-to-catch species to keep the action exciting. Everyone fishes!
* Nearshore Fishing Charters
Head 1-10 miles offshore to troll or bottom-fish for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, and more.
* Shark Fishing Charters
Stay within 3 miles of shore to target sharks like Blacktips and Hammerheads weighing 20-80 pounds or more. It’s safe, thrilling fun for all ages!
** Fishing gear, bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included.
When you fish with me, I’ll have everything ready to go, from top-notch fishing gear to a clean, comfortable boat.

On your fishing charter I will guide you through every step and I will point out local landmarks, share local stories, and capture great photos of your trip.
